This extremely rare and highly sought after Patek Philippe ref.3504G is one of the rarest centre seconds time only references ever made by the brand. The attractive white gold case, preserved in very nice condition with both hallmarks retained, is reminiscent of the automatic monodate ref.3445. However this much rarer reference 3504 has a greater thickness to the case, despite being manual wind, to accommodate the central seconds feature. This provides a greater presence on the wrist and overall balance to the case which sits with real stature.
Only a handful of examples of this reference are known and only a couple are known with this special dial variant, which features really attractive faceted spear shaped hour markers only seen on this very rare reference. The gorgeous and ultra fine sunburst finish is simply sublime, it catches the light in the most perfect way and directs one's eyes towards those fantastic sculptural hour markers.
The movement is great, both mechanically and aesthetically and is keeping great time.
Available now complete with the extract from the archives.
