Available now, this gorgeous Patek Philippe ref.570A is an exceptionally rare example, the only one known in its special configuration. It features a very rare case specification, with slightly larger diameter and as the keen eyed amongst you may have noticed, a slightly narrower lug gauge than the typical ref.570, creating a more ‘tonneau’ silhouette. Essentially a ref.530 grande Calatrava format case made for the ref.570, a phenomenon only observed in a very small few 1st series examples, of which only a couple are known in steel and for which the is the only example known with this configuration dial, double signed Hausmann & Co, Patek Philippe’s agent in Rome in the era.
