An extremely rare 1945 Patek Philippe ref.96R pink on pink, in wonderful condition and complete with freshly issued extract from the archives papers from Patek Philippe.

This superb ref.96 pink on pink Calatrava is one of only a few dozen examples known. This is a lovely example of the reference with well preserved sharp case, the two hallmarks crisply retained. The dial presents nicely with its long comma signature and sub dial, lapped rose gold hour markers, with light natural patina, only notable to a couple of points on the periphery, the satin opalin finish, the pearling and the lacquer are all very nice. The movement is decorated to the highest of standards as one expects from Patek and is in both excellent aesthetic and mechanical condition.
